@AllkenyaNurseS I participated in all the demonstrations in Nairobi and had the opportunity to interact with many nurses on the ground. We went on strike but unfortunately, none of those key demands was Adressed itโs is now time for Kenyan nurses to rise, unite, an smoke out Panyako $team
If you're a registered nurse working with student nurses and interns, be that person who allows them to make mistakes. Tell them it is okay to miss a cannulation, do a VE and tell them to confirm for you. Those simple acts takes them a long way
@GNM_254@sangdebby The same to the leaders who fail to provide the essential equipments and drugs to the hospitals and who fail to pay the medics on time. They can not be stressed and expected to deliver.
Anyone who cares about healthcare will tell you that this will do more harm than good . Now deliveries will potentially only happen in level 5 hospitals . Any slight doubt will warranty a referral. Instead of equipping hospitals and employing competent nurses , you want jail ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐
Two months ago, the Ministry of Health placed medical graduates across the country for internship. We reported to our stations, started working, and have continued serving patients despite not receiving a single shilling in salary.
Two months of work without pay is unacceptable. We have bills to pay, families to support, transport and accommodation costs to meet. We are not asking for a favour-we are demanding what we have already earned.
Enough is enough. Pay medical interns. We need action, not excuses.

Nurses should retire from public service at the age of 55.
You've no business breaking your back at 60 while carrying a tonne of attitude towards the young nurses.
The current generation itakupea pressure ukufe bila kuenjoy your pension
Nairobi ukisign contract ya nursing, you lose your value as a nurse. Go for the locums , they'll appreciate you more than a contracted nurse . Unapewa locum unafanya Kazi Safi hadi wanakubembeleza usign contract ya incharge ๐
