@RunItBackFDTV@MichelleDBeadle@TeamLou23@boogiecousins So every year there's been hype about him being traded or signing an extension and yet he has consistently confirmed his desire to stay. So why would he be the liar? If anything, it's a huge troll.
@AndyHermanNFL Is there a correlation to the Pack leading at half? I'm wondering if once GB has a 2 score lead, both the offense and the defense become more conservative to try and bleed the clock and prevent quick scores.
While understandable, I don't love it.
For the “Giannis and Dame were a failed duo” crowd, I’ll just leave this here once more:
They were the highest scoring duo in the league both years they played together.
Became the first duo in NBA history to each record 24+ PPG, 4+ RPG, and 6+ APG in back-to-back seasons. No one had ever done it before. Not Kobe-Shaq, not Jordan-Pippen, not Stockton-Malone, not Magic-Kareem, not Wade-LeBron.
Most games each recording 25+ PTS and 10+ AST by any duo in NBA history.
A failure? On the offensive end especially, these guys were as dominant together as they come. Injuries, coaching, and poor roster construction around them were the ultimate downfall. They played less than 30 minutes together in the playoffs after everything, where Dame sacrificed his body to give them a chance, and devastatingly got hurt further in the process.
These guys were awesome as a unit. They loved each other, as teammates, and as friends. Both adapted their games to best fit the other. Sick and tired of all the discourse suggesting otherwise.
The end has been abrupt and shocking, but to know Dame is content with it all is a consolation.
Be glad we got to experience 0 and 34 in action, even if the result was less than desired.
@ringer@MichaelVPina So the alternative was to keep Dame, and use the MPE exception to HOPE you can sign Ayton or Horford? Or retool by giving Dame's money to Turner (+ ~20%) and find another scorer?
That article is a whole lotta backseat driving without offering anything intelligent.
@AaronNagler Asking sincerely, was the helmet-to-shoulder block that took Jenkins out legal? It just felt dirty cuz there was 0 effort to engage in the block with his hands but maybe it happens all the time and doesn't result in injury.
@NekiasNBA Lifelong Never-trust-the-Bucks fan here who believes the Bucks can go toe to toe with the best of the East, but even I am concerned about the matchup with OKC. What matchup angles are you excited about?
@pattherogue@NBA The fact he put these numbers up, lost to the weakest team, and every reporter isn't wondering if he should ask out speaks volumes about agendas.
@Matt__Horne@BookOfEli_NFL I was thinking the same thing.... I'd like to believe the go route is actually an easier throw when fading back and a guy in your face. In reality he had already decided to throw to Doubs before the play started if he saw a 1v1.
