The brutal murder of the King of Gobir, Muhammad Isah Bawa, by Fulani bandits remains unforgettable.
He had just left a peace meeting with the Sultan of Sokoto when he was ambushed and killed.
For weeks, the king cried out for help, but none came. Even after his death, his family was denied the chance to recover his body, and the Sultan offered no condolences.
This tragic incident raises serious questions about unity in Nigeria.
We are constantly told we are one but actions like this tell a very different story.
Tyrique George is a name many Super Eagles fans are only just learning, and the timing of his situation makes him worth watching closely.
The 20-year-old winger qualifies for the Super Eagles through his Nigerian father. A Chelsea academy product, he spent last season on loan at Everton, but struggled for regular game time there.
Everton holds an option to sign him permanently, but they appear reluctant to trigger it, which means George is reportedly available for a permanent sale this summer and believed to be open to a genuinely fresh start elsewhere.
This is the modern Super Eagles reality: talented young players raised entirely in England, developed inside Premier League academy systems, whose eligibility to play for Nigeria exists purely through bloodline, often discovered by Nigerian scouts long before the player themselves has fully considered the international decision.
George's next club move could end up being just as important to his international future as it is to his club career.
If Tyrique George ends up declaring for Nigeria, what kind of impact do you think he could make on the Super Eagles' wing options?👇
Cameroon is one country fully controlled by France. The people are aware but not yet organized. Most of its resources, especially crude oil, head to Europe while the people live in abject poverty and misery, stuck in the 1970s. The day Cameroonians wake up and chase France and its puppet out of power, the country will become better.
“It’s Very Unfair To Say Nigerians Pray So Much Simply Because The Healthcare System Isn’t Working. Even In Advanced Countries Like The USA, There Are Challenges Beyond Healthcare. Anyone Making Such Statements Should Pray They Never Face a Serious Illness That Money Alone Cannot Solve. There Are Situations Where Prayer Is All You Have Left.” ~ Pastor Jerry Eze, Streams of Joy International.
Selling Chalobah hurts sentiment more than it hurts the squad. Acheampong has looked elite every time he's played. The shirt is there for the taking. No excuses now.
They are not just immigrants but White Caucasian invaders who perpetrated a genocide that wiped out the native population of America—that’s the same story on every continent they landed on.
Every student who passes the baccalaureate in Burkina Faso now goes through something called Immersion Patriotique Obligatoire, a mandatory month long civic training program created by presidential decree under Captain Ibrahim Traoré. The 2026 session runs from July 27 to August 26 across regional capitals nationwide, and it is not optional. Passing it is now a requirement before moving on to university.
The program is not just for new graduates either. It has already expanded down to younger students. In January, over 58000 intermediate level students across the Kadiogo region started a six week version focused on civic values, national symbols, and discipline. Defense and security forces are personally delivering parts of the training.
Officials behind the program are blunt about why it exists. They point to a generation that has grown distant from state authority, careless with national symbols, and disconnected from the country's own history. The goal is to close that gap before it becomes permanent.
This is what sovereignty looks like when it goes past politics and into the classroom. Is this nation building done right, or is it discipline dressed up as patriotism.

When Regina Daniels left, Ned didn't behave like Mr. Obasi when Judy Austin left him. This is the power of Polygamy, wise men like @Kene_Nnewi understand this, it's one of the reasons why i have three wives today. Polygamy is the only way for a man to escape a woman's control, exercise your alphaness, improve longevity by living peacefully like our ancestors because whenever you come home to your first wife and she fails pamper you, simply get up and go to second why, if second wife also misbehaves you go to third wife.
Most of you here, your fathers died very young and you still don't know why, look at Ned Nwoko, at his age he is still going strong because nothing bothers him. Regina left, another took over, Ned's happiness and enjoyment continues, Regina's happiness and enjoyment has been cut short.
Sermons over!
Kroupi Junior is an example that French league is a gold mine.
But the Ligue 2 is also growing faster.
USL Dunkerque has a very different & unique CM who's physically & technically superior.
Théna Massock(18) is a CM/CDM potential who stands at 1.92m tall provides an immediate aerial and physical advantage in the pivot space.
A rare and highly valued trait for a left-footed defensive midfielder who share similarities with Bouaddi in all nature.
Barca should take advantage of this unknown commodity.
His contract expires in 2028, thus signing him could be possible around 1-2m.

🇧🇫 🇫🇷 Here we go...the real battle for the soul of Burkina Faso has begun, it is now or never :
The real war for Burkina Faso's total independence from France has just begun following the unprecedented decision by Burkina Faso to cut diplomatic relations with France.
Now, France will step up its hostilities against Burkina Faso, especially the plots to assassinate Captain Traoré. The plots will intensify, Africans will be used, as usual, to help make it happen.
There are already comments and posts from people in Burkina Faso's neighboring countries strongly siding with France against Burkina Faso and its leader after the decision to cut the relations.
France will be stepping up its operations against Captain Traoré, with Africans being used as the spearheads. The people of Burkina Faso, are ready for this final battle for their total independence from France. They are on a road of no return. Either they achieve total sovereignty from France, or they die fighting for it. There is no going back.
That is the true meaning of Burkina Faso's motto, "The Fatherland or death, We Shall Overcome," which Thomas Sankara included in the country's national anthem and which also serves as its national motto.
Algeria's war of independence against France cost the lives of more than one million Algerians (reportedly 1.5 million). In Burkina Faso, the war for independence (through the fight against terrorism) has been costing Burkinabes lives already for the past 10 years. Now, with the final battle seemingly imminent following the decision to cut diplomatic relations with France, they are prepared for even greater sacrifices that could exceed those made by Algeria in order to achieve our total independence. A heavy price must sometimes be paid so that future generations can live in freedom. One million lives lost for freedom is nothing compared to the value of freedom itself. The Algerians understood that early on. That's why today they are independent and have full control over their resources.
In South Saharan Africa, we must be ready and have the courage to sacrifice a great deal as the price of breaking free from the colonizers and becoming like other sovereign nations. We cannot keep talking and complaining forever. The colonizers will not hand us our full sovereignty simply because we continue to complain. Only strong actions from our side, will push them. And we should always be ready to pay the price for that push. However that price is, it will lead to freedom sooner or later. And eventually, the whole world will respect us for defending our freedom regardless of any consequences.

Mr Ibu’s case is just painful and very heartbreaking 💔💔
A man worked all his life, built houses, bought lands, made money… but barely 2 years after his death, everything is scattered.
Lagos house sold — ₦60m
Enugu property sold — ₦17m
Asaba property sold — ₦11m
That’s about ₦88 million gone.
Then they asked Mr Ibu’s wife what she does for a living… she started stammering.
“I have a page on Instagram… errrm… I sell jewelry… I was an actress but my husband said…”
Madam, no clear job, no solid business, yet you carried your children to go rent house for expensive estate.
Then they asked her again:
“Did you sell your husband’s properties?”
She brought out one paper from envelope.
Leave paper and answer question.
She finally said yes.
“Yes, I sold them… but I was not the only one. Me and two of his sons sold it.”
Now Nigerians donated another ₦7.5 million for rent and school fees.
This is what I don’t understand…
You sold properties worth almost ₦90m.
What happened to the money? And Nigerians still carry 7.5 million naira give her 🙄🙄
