Can you actually live using crypto in the Philippines? 👀🇵🇭
Hi, I’m Liz! I’ll be documenting my journey of testing different crypto apps, DeFi wallets, and crypto cards to see if they actually work for everyday purchases here in the Philippines!
For Episode 1, I’m using @usetria to pay for my train ride with Apple Pay. 💳🚆

In celebration of International Women’s Day, sharing a bit of my crypto journey ✨
Years ago, I entered crypto through play to earn games. Back then I didn’t even know there was something like a community or even CT. All I knew was that I was earning money online.🤣
Curiosity pushed me to learn more, so I started attending events and exploring the space deeper.
Eventually, I joined @superteam PH as a Coordinator Lead: working behind the scenes on documentation, admin, and helping run regional events across the Philippines.
From there, I landed various roles across Web3, mostly centered around community building, events, and helping projects grow - one of it is @bitget
I also had the opportunity to attend @SolanaEvents Breakpoint + @token2049 2024 as one of the delegates — which really showed me how global this space is.
Somewhere along the way, I also became a @BitgetBuilders, supporting and amplifying the ecosystem.
I’m now helping lead Avalanche Team1 Philippines @AvaxTeam1 grow by organizing events, supporting community initiatives and helping students learn about the basics of blockchain @avax
I’ve also had the chance to support different brands and projects as an ambassador, @bitget, @sideshiftai@bonk_inu@babesnetxyz@avaxteam1 and so many more honestly and I’ll always continue to help them grow because they believed in me when I had 0 followers - when i started from zero. 🥺🙏
Crypto is still a male dominated field, but journeys like this remind me that there is space for us women here too: to build, lead, and grow.
I’m also really happy initiatives like #Blockchain4Her #LadyForward exist, creating a safe space that empowers women in Web3 and allows people like me to keep growing.
Through it all, one thing stayed the same:
I’ve always been community driven: passionate about amplifying projects, educating people, and helping more builders enter Web3.
Grateful for the journey and the people I’ve met along the way. Too many to mention I wont tag everyone but ykyk ✨
Honestly, there’s a lot more to the story… but it’s hard to fit everything in one tiny post 😭😂

Global adoption is here.
Visa crypto card spending grew from:
💳 $14.6M → $91.3M in just 2025.
And here’s the part most people didn't know:
Out of that $91.3M, a massive $29M came from @useTria in just the last 4 months of 2025 via @parthbl
Read that again.
Most people don’t understand how fast this kind of organic growth really is.
When you put users first and give them a genuinely good experience, loyalty compounds.
That’s the Tria effect.
