🌹 Happy Feast Day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, my Confirmation Saint! ❤️ Her little way reminds me that holiness is found in love, humility, and faith. May we bring more love into everything we do. 🙏🏻 “What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love.” ❤️
Saw this AI-generated image on Facebook and I cannot emphasize enough, PLEASE do not carry a lit candle in your bag to adoration. Also no need to bring holy water, they have it there.
Finally got my long overdue haircut! 💈✂️ Nipped down the barbers this afternoon and feeling nice and fresh with a tidy trim. Popped into a couple of shops while I was out and managed to bag myself a Perry Como vinyl too! 🎶💿
Tonight I’m afraid that the River Wear is a place of profound sorrow. Three young lives have been lost, and another young person is in hospital. We can only imagine the anguish of their families and friends.
I pray that God will hold those families close in their grief, and that the people of #Sunderland will surround them with compassion rather than speculation.
May the three young people rest in the peace of Christ, and may all who loved them be given strength and consolation. 🕯️🙏
Six Catholics with Down syndrome served Mass for the pope today.
I've seen this referred to online as a "spectacle," a "publicity stunt," and "emotional manipulation."
I'ts none of those things. It's Catholic. If it wouldn't happen at your parish, the pope ain't the problem.
Lovely afternoon out with Mam at Team Valley! 🛍️💕 We had a browse around B&M, Daisy Chain & the huge new Home Bargains 😂🛒, followed by McDonald’s! 🍔 Came home with snacks, Halloween goodies & even a couple of Christmas bits! 🎃🎄🥰

Not felt this unwell in a while 😞 This chest infection is really knocking me down. So thankful my Mam can bring me Holy Communion. 🙏🏻💙 There’s no greater comfort than receiving Our Lord when I’m at my weakest. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us. 🙏🏻
What an afternoon! 😅 After a crazy wait, I’ve been diagnosed with a nasty chest infection and started antibiotics. I also need a colonoscopy via my stoma, had more bloods & a chest X-ray. Exhausted but finally home! ❤️
With thanks to all who voted and advocated against the Assisted Dying Bill today. It was a bad Bill that failed to protect the vulnerable. To respect human life and dignity we care not kill.
Despite the battles and harder days, I’m choosing the positives. ❤️ I feel like I’ve got some of my spark back, and it feels AMAZING! ✨ Grateful for my faith, family, friends, love, laughter & happiness. 🥰✨🥂
Bishop Stephen Wright, Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle, has spoken about the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill criticising it for failing to safeguarding the most vulnerable in the society.
Bishop Wright asserts that our God-given dignity must be respected ahead of the Second Reading and vote on the Bill that will take place on Friday, 11 September.
What a fantastic night at the Centenary Ball for the Hexham & Newcastle Lourdes Pilgrimage! 💙✨ Dancing, laughter, memories and my amazing Lourdes family. So lucky to share these special moments with wonderful people. Here’s to Lourdes 2027! 💙🙏🏻
☀️ Goodbye Summer 2026! 💛 What a summer of memories, adventures, celebrations & laughter! From birthdays & graduations to Lourdes for the Centenary Pilgrimage 🙏💙 the absolute highlight! Thank you for an amazing summer! 🍂✨
Next Friday, the Assisted Dying Bill will again be voted on in Parliament. It ran out of time in the Lords before because they felt it needed over 1,200 amendments just to make it safe and workable.
Email your MP and tell them to vote against the bill👇https://t.co/6OlgjT3O4E
Government admits that disabled people will be coerced to end their life by structural pressures such as neglect, poverty and living conditions, if medically-assisted suicide is legalised. Is this the brave new world you want, MPs?
Tell your MP to vote against the new assisted suicide bill on September 11: https://t.co/YfoZmXmclE
For disabled people, the return of this bill is an existential threat. Assist us to live, not to die.
