Cringing at the amount of classism being spouted as anti-racism… the only people who benefit when you mock working class white folk for lack of qualifications or appearance etc are the middle and upper classes who orchestrate and sanction white supremacy from positions of power
Racism, discrimination & violence takes its toll on mental health & can precipitate mental illness in those who are vulnerable. All have the right to live & work in a safe environment. Look after yourselves, your families & communities. See our resources: https://t.co/lYqb4AnECK
Thanks to the 300 people who came along today to talk about the impact of racism, Islamophobia and violence on them, their families, communities and our services. Your courage is enormous. The #allyship was palpable. It’s a privilege to be CEO @WYpartnership and be alongside you.
Black and brown people’s right to exist in safety shouldn’t rest on their ability/willingness to serve the rest of the population. Also let’s call racism and Islamophobia what it is. Words have meaning. 3/3
I really appreciate the support I’m seeing on here in the wake of the riots. But. These “an immigrant saved my life” posts aren’t necessarily doing what they’re intended to…it’s perfectly possible within our current structures to benefit from 1/
The labour of black and brown people without seeing their humanity - that’s sort of the reason race/racism was invented. Playing into this narrative that there are “good” (and therefore bad) immigrants isn’t helpful, however well-intentioned 2/

Even if Imane Khelif were transgender and/or intersex, she shouldn't be dissected and discriminated against.
It’s great that a lot of folks are defending her, but don't let your empathy end there.
Trans and intersex folks deserve dignity and respect as well.
If the first thing you say about trans people is about bathrooms or sports & not about how to make the world safer for these beautiful children of God, you need real help.
I can not think of another organisation, which has survived so many reports demonstrating a deep racist toxic culture, where those responsible are trusted to create a new culture and no one resigns.
