The other day I was listening to Pink Pony Club and wondering if people realized that it was about a s*x worker. I think a lot of people don’t.
Are there multiple ways to interpret it? Sure. But there’s a lot of textual evidence to support that the protagonist is a s*x worker.
Are women clients in and of themselves? To an extent. But the bet is that you’re drawing in more men, who will pay more for access to women. They’re the main revenue source. The women are an asset that the club uses to attract more men.
I know the Hyperloop is a scam and not feasible but imagine how cool it would be to have a giant worldwide metro network that allows people to go from one continent to another in a couple hours!
We really do sleep on the fact that librarians are literally the guardians of knowledge. Keeping it, evaluating its quality, tracking it, locating it, acquiring it, and helping you find the knoweldge you need (even if you yourself don't really know what that is yet).
My hot take is that you should write your lit review last.
