Newcastle are a good side but we were incredibly poor. We never got going nor looked like scoring. You make errors you get punished. Certainly missed Delap but shouldn’t be relying on one player. Hoped we’d have a boost after a win but not even close. Onto the next #itfc

Seemed to hold our own first half but second half as a different story, inability to get that second goal. Delap looked knackered second half from rubbing himself into the ground but it still took us ages to make subs which i don’t understand. That one stings, a lot #itfc

Gutted we lost, sloppy mistakes/defending, inability to shut the game down and not taking our chances. Left it so late to make subs, it’s a struggle to see where the points are going to come from. Where’s our desire to win gone 😓 #itfc

Being disappointed with the game is understandable, being concerned is understandable. But hurling abuse at players, booing and saying they should never play again is uncalled for. Prem is a massive step up, it was always going to be difficult. Team needs backing & support. #itfc

Concerned as to when we are going to stabilise, the longer this goes on the more confidence will deflate also, I really hope we can spin this around I’m just not sure when 😣 #itfc

That was very poor, didn’t seem to get going nor have any sort of flow. Referee stop starting constantly didn’t help. Incredibly frustrating. Baffles me how strong we were against Man U compared to tonight. We go again Sunday #itfc
