Dear RMRK Community
We want to begin by expressing our profound gratitude for your support, creativity, and belief in our vision throughout this journey. It's with a heavy heart that we must share some difficult news: due to funding challenges and the resulting team departures, the RMRK project cannot continue operating in its current form.
Our Journey and Achievements
Since founding, RMRK has achieved significant milestones:
- Launched the first version of our NFT protocol on Kusama.
- Launched the first version of our Modular NFT protocol on Kusama.
- Released "Kanaria" NFT collection, pioneering multi-resource NFTs.
- Released "Singular," a Modular NFT Marketplace.
- Implemented the Modular NFT protocol for EVM.
- Certified multiple ERCs (ERC-5773, ERC-7401, ERC-6220, ERC-6454, ERC-7409, ERC-7508, ERC-7590), making Modular NFTs a universal open-source standard accessible to anyone.
- Migrated the whole tech stack into EVM, unlocking smart contract functionality for Kanaria and Singular. This improved security, solved the double-spend issue, and allowed for functionality such as auctions and offers.
- Released "Upgradooor" (https://t.co/FfHTY1y32G) which allowed for ERC721 NFTs to be upgraded into Modular NFTs, unlocking all of their functionality for existing collections.
- Released "Mintaur" (https://t.co/tGmAIA4rjr) allowing creation of lazy-minted Modular NFTs.
- Released "Wizard" (https://t.co/ya3pYk2h13), a smart contract development tool for Modular NFTs.
- Open-sourced multiple examples of Modular NFT integration into modern Web tooling.
- Launched "Skybreach: Lands" (more on this below).
- Launched the "Skybreach: Dungeons" game.
- Implemented the first-ever 3D composable NFTs.
- Helped many teams launch their own projects using the Modular NFT protocol.
The RMRK project has always maintained a position of not utilizing predatory Web3 practices and has believed in natural growth. Despite these accomplishments, the market conditions and failure to attract additional investments have brought sustainability challenges, leading us to our current situation.
Skybreach
All the products built by RMRK through this time were always part of a grander vision, and each and every single one was a stepping stone for making Skybreach possible.
From the EVM version of the protocol to bring it natively on-chain to Kanaria and Singular migration to have the necessary infrastructure in place. Unfortunately, at the current stage, the continuation of the Skybreach project is not possible due to lack of funding and market conditions, and the use of the raised RMRK token is also not an option.
Key Learnings from Looking Back
We've identified several decisions that could have been better:
- Treasury management: Keeping too much KSM as the price dropped significantly
- Migration process: We should have moved directly to Base instead of considering Moonbeam first
- Network choice: While Base seemed right at the time, their support wasn't as good as we expected
- Product timeline: Delaying Skybreach while working on tools and showcases didn't bring the user growth we hoped for
- Token handling: We were too careful about selling tokens when prices were good, which limited our funding, though we were trying to avoid affecting the market
- Partnerships: We spent too much time trying to work out partnerships with various brands that lead to nowhere, in most cases they just wanted to hear our expertise without any execution resulting in a lot of wasted time.
These insights come from looking back with knowledge we didn't have then. All decisions were made with good intentions and based on what we knew at the time.
Seeking Solutions and Inviting Collaboration
We are actively exploring possible solutions to ensure the continuity of what we've built. We welcome third parties interested in taking over Skybreach or other aspects of the RMRK ecosystem. Kanaria, Skybreach, and Chunkies intellectual property and technology are available for use by the community. We believe in the potential of what we've created and would love to see it continue to evolve, even if under different stewardship. If you're interested in leveraging or further developing any part of our technology stack, please reach out to us through our usual channels or at [email protected].
Moving Forward
The remaining team consists of voluntary maintainers, and the remaining treasury funds (excluding the RMRK token) will be used to maintain services through 2025, allowing sufficient time for teams reliant on any of the RMRK services to build viable alternatives using our open-source examples.
The RMRK team and its community of builders are reachable in our RMRK Implementers channel on Telegram (https://t.co/yZgbvwf9zs) for anyone looking to build with RMRK technology.
With gratitude for the past and hope for the future,
RMRK Team

Ladies, let’s turn off the reality shows and root for each-other
Dear RMRK Community,
After four years of relentlessly building and innovating in the NFT space, we’re entering a new phase in RMRK’s journey. While our operational capacity will be reduced to align with current market conditions and available resources, our commitment to the RMRK ecosystem continues in meaningful ways.
The last two years were challenging for RMRK as we built some truly innovative on-chain experiences which didn’t get recognition beyond our existing community circle. As a small team primarily consisting of engineers and not bizdev/marketing people, we clearly failed to attract new users and a wider audience to notice our efforts. Building products for 14 hours a day with very little time off and no positive feedback while also trying to do marketing and community engagement really affected our mental health. Four weeks ago, we all took a long break to recharge, step back, and re-evaluate our strategy.
We remain big believers in the potential of the Modular composable NFT standard, and we’re excited to see more people discover its capabilities. Our GitHub repositories contain extensive examples and templates that demonstrate the standard’s versatility and power. We encourage developers to explore these resources and build upon them, as we’ll be open-sourcing more of our codebase in the coming period to further support community-driven development.
We are also very excited about our upcoming collaboration with @wunder_nft , where we’re working on simplifying the creation and utilization of modular NFTs. This initiative will integrate the RMRK token into its process, representing a continued evolution of our ecosystem. By making modular NFTs easier to create, this collaboration will also directly benefit Singular, our marketplace that allows the listing and trading of modular NFTs. Currently, Singular’s usage is limited due to the complexity of creating modular NFTs, which has been a barrier to adoption. With the Wunder collaboration, we anticipate more modular NFTs being listed on Singular, thereby boosting activity and generating revenue. This additional income will enable us to further develop the standards for modular NFTs and enhance their capabilities.
This shift in strategy is not only helpful but also necessary to unlock the full potential of modular NFTs and drive broader adoption. By lowering the entry barriers and enabling more creators to explore and utilize these NFTs, we aim to solidify their relevance and practicality in the evolving NFT ecosystem.
Going forward, while updates and developments will occur on a more occasional basis, we’re focusing our limited resources on these strategic initiatives that can have a lasting impact. While @SkybreachNFT and other projects continue to hold potential, we must be transparent about our adjusted development pace. If you are a developer who would like to build on top of Skybreach, please reach out to us through [email protected].
We’re immensely grateful for your continued support and understanding as we navigate this transition period. The RMRK standard remains a significant contribution to the NFT space, and we look forward to seeing how both our team and the broader community continue to build upon it.
Any future updates will be shared through our usual channels.
Thank you,
The RMRK Team
How to buy Pulsechain Assets:
Step 1. Bank -> Coinbase
Step2. Eth on Coinbase -> Internet Money Wallet
Step 3. Inside Internet Money Wallet, Turn Eth into PLS
Step 4. then swap PLS for Pulsechain assets.
All done inside the wallet. Easy to use.
Once you move your Eth from Coinbase to your wallet, its all done inside the wallet. You dont have to use the bridge website.
Big Thanks to @BrotherKDG and @DonMontoya818 for making it all so easy and a one stop shop!
2024 is the year that will define the rest of my life.
Honestly, I’m scared. But also hopeful that this community cares with a passion.
Please donate towards my legal defense.

If you can't answer this question easily, you are not a trader. This is a concept that should be used in your trading everyday.
If it's confusing to you why this trader is wildly profitable.. your knowledge base may as well be that of a first day trader.
Meteorologist and founder of the Weather Channel, John Coleman, utterly demolishes the human-induced "climate emergency" narrative, in under three minutes.
"There is no significant man-made global warming now, there hasn’t been any in the past and there’s no reason to expect any in the future."
"The government puts out about $2.5 billion for climate research every year. It only gives that money to scientists who will produce scientific results that support the global warming hypothesis."

This is a simple method of applying atmospheric (free) energy to significantly increase plant growth.
Using basic materials like copper wire (and/or magnets) to vitalize the soil and increase yields by 100% - 300%. It also eliminates the need for fertilizer and pesticides.
There are many benefits to Electroculture and all of them were being openly advertised hundred years ago. All these benefits are found even with the most simple modern methods of utilizing copper wire as an antenna.
One common method of modern Electroculture is the “spiral antenna", a simple copper wire that is planted into the soil. This copper wire acts like an antenna to collect atmospheric energy and direct it down into the soil. This method is accomplished with low-cost materials such as copper wire that is available at your local hardware or craft store.
Explained that it is not the electricity as we know it, but the use of Earth's electro-magnetic energy to increase the crop yield of fruits and vegetables, which stimulates and increases the fertility of the soil.
