🎸 my documentary Changing Country Music is on @bbcworldservice this Saturday at 12pm GMT, with the brilliant @LadyNade - asking whether country music is opening up to women of colour and featuring some AMAZING guests, was a privilege 🎙
Tragic news about Michael Mosley. He was such an important figure both on and off screen in the BBC science unit, and as a mentor to many of us when we started out in science presenting. And, as many of our colleagues have already said on here, he was a genuinely lovely man. So sorry for his family. RIP Michael.

Can Shaun be persuaded to become the Boy from Ipanema? Or to shake his stuff at Carnival? I think he’s made for it.

Sad to learn that Benjamin Zephaniah has died. He was always so kind and generous to me... to so very many people.
Loved making this with Benjamin.
"I need more trees please
I think more nature would be greater
so what if we made more space for nature"
This is the first year in 12 years that a woman (@laineywilson) was named the #CMAawards entertainer of the year. Since 1967, only 16% of the winners have been women. Kinda hard for women to win when country radio avoids playing them back-to-back. https://t.co/b7wZgdkaVZ
