I'm in that middle age bracket, actually beyond. One thing I IMPLORE you to do? Do not let anyone rob you of your time. One of the things I'm a bit miffed over is how much time I spent in heartbreak when others moved right along.

The supervisor advised his hands were tied. I have worked for a big corp before and they empowered the front line employees to make decisions and they would back them within reason. They also wanted us to advise them if a policy didn’t make sense.
