🛑🇧🇫- A disabled man at Faso Mèbo.

This is unprecedented! His name is Abdoul, disabled and a shoemaker by profession. He came to volunteer in the Faso Mèbo. No one could discourage him or prevent him from participating.

He said that no one called you, it’s the work of everyone and for the homeland. So, if you do it, you do it for yourself, if you don’t do it, no one cares.

So, the woman recording this said that when they see this man working, then they can work until night, because it’s for the homeland.

Just like I said before, @CapitaineIb226 has revived the spirit of patriotism that Thomas Sankara has inculcated in us.

At the “Battle of the rail” that Thomas Sankara initiated in 1985 after avoiding the Breton woods institutions, and the AfDB refused to give him a loan, he incited our parents and grandparents to build the railway.

They did it with their bare hands. They were able to build 103 km of railway in two years. The work would have continued unto Tambao if his life wasn’t cut off short.

Here we are in 2025, 40 years later, Burkinabè in large numbers are lining up in queues just to become volunteers. And guess what, Abdoul is working with his daughter.

Burkina Faso’s motto: Homeland or Death, We will Overcome. These are not empty words, it has all its meaning. Respect, Abdoul! One love ❤️!
