@NamboEdwin On debt restructuring alone, I'm giving HH my vote. I know how incapacitating debt can be. And the good reports are coming in, 'Zambia's external debt service dropped by $90.9 million in 2025' -Diggers.
@ngomabest196 The main measure of economic growth is GDP. if you think paying attention to this fundamental economic concept is a joke then try running your home with no income then come we discuss. Economic growth is a necessary condition for any development. You can't distribute poverty.
@briansimasiku There are 2 options out of the cost of living quagmire;
1) A direct subsidy on mealie meal and fuel - not feasible at the moment due to our debt predicament. We actually messed this option up in 2011
2)Stabilise & grow the economy, lower the inflation to allow incomes catch up โ
@ZambianObserver I think we need to be serious as a nation. There is a law, The Investment, Trade and Business Development Act, No. 18 of 2022. In part VI it outlines investment incentives 1) local investor minimum is $50,000 approx K925,000. 2) Citizen owned $100,000 approx K1,850,000 and so on.
@Mike42726245 I beg to differ, I can't think of a country that has attained development by being democratic but I can think of more than 2 countries that have become democratic after attaining economic development and many more that are on that path. That's y lean more on economic performance
@bwalya_bri99455@Malik_ZMB Too much misinformation pano. The Kasama-Mporokoso road was started under Rupiah Banda and finished under ba Sata. Mundubile became MP in 2016
@briansimasiku The main reason I will vote for HH is not because of theories, it's because of personal experience. Around 2021 I implemented similar measures to what Zambia has implemented. It's bearing fruits now. I'm convinced beyond reasonable doubt this is the right path, economically.
@MtongaAndrew5 They say experience is the best teacher. I'm convinced very few who have never experienced what the Nation has gone thru in the last 11 years at personal level would believe this is a better outcome. A number wouldn't believe we were headed for disaster had we not changed govt.
@riaanlombard11 It's the medicine @HHichilema was willing to take and now almost bearing fruits. But some people don't seem to understand. Anyone can fall for short-term gratification but it takes discipline to endure and enjoy real fruits of hardwork.
@0xUnoftheo7 When you people say 'tax break' what do you really mean? which tax type do they get a break from? I would like to understand something here.
