Monsanto patented glyphosate as an antibiotic in 2010, and your gut is bacteria.

It kills a weed by blocking one pathway, the shikimate pathway. Humans do not have that pathway, which is the entire safety argument, printed on every bottle for fifty years.

Bacteria have it. The bacteria in your gut have it. So the company that sells the weedkiller took out patent 7,771,736 to sell the same molecule as an antimicrobial, and got it.

It was patented first in 1964, by a different company, as a chelator. A chelator grabs minerals and will not let go. Iron, zinc, manganese, magnesium: it binds them in the soil, which is why it kills the plant, and it binds them in whatever eats the plant.

It is sprayed on wheat, oats and barley a fortnight before harvest, to kill the crop on purpose so it dries evenly for the combine. Which is why the highest residues in the shop are in porridge, bread and cereal, and why the steak has none.

Everyone knows the AWS story. Amazon built the infrastructure to run its own store, it got so good they opened it to the world, and now so much of the internet runs on it.

I built that same shape on Bitcoin. The nodes, the indexers, a federated network of SPV nodes, the hard machinery that serves any wallet or app its history, its proofs, and its broadcast straight from the chain. I built it to run my own product. It runs. So now it's open, and you can hook into it instead of building the hard parts yourself.

On top of the machines are the formats, and this is where it becomes a platform. bgit is a format that writes an entire git repository onto Bitcoin. Because it's an open format and not just a tool, apps grow on it. One already puts a whole repo on chain so it can be rebuilt byte for byte. Another proves a repo existed without storing a single byte of it. Same ground underneath, different apps on top. Code hosting, backups that outlive any company, package registries, proof of who wrote what and when, all of it can grow on that open format, and none of it needs my permission.

On top of the formats is the product. Indelible, the AI memory people actually use. The machines make every memory permanent and provable, the formats give it shape, and the product is just the floor you can see.

That is the AWS for Bitcoin. But here is what AWS can never be, and it is the whole reason I built it on this chain instead of theirs.

On AWS, you rent. Amazon owns the machines, and they own your access to your own data. They can raise the price, suspend the account, hand it to whoever asks, or just go down, and you own nothing to hold onto. You are a tenant on someone else's land.

On Bitcoin, you own it. Your data lives on the chain, encrypted under a key only you hold. Nobody can edit it, revoke it, or take it away. It is yours the way land is yours, not the way a subscription is yours. That is the difference between renting your life from a company and owning it outright.

And there is one more thing the old cloud was never built to do. It has no economy between the machines. On Bitcoin, the agents themselves pay each other in sats, a live machine to machine economy where one AI buys verified work from another and settles on chain, no invoice, no middleman, no permission. AWS moves data. This moves value, between machines, natively.

Three floors. The machines, the formats, and the product. All on Bitcoin. Built for myself first, open to everyone now. Sovereign, so the common folks own their information instead of renting it, and alive with an economy the old cloud was never built to have.
