February is #blackhistorymonth. The idea was originally proposed by historian Carter G. Woodson in an effort to contest the erasure of Black influence in American history education. This year’s BHM poster contains the words to "Lift Every Voice and Sing" & can be seen on campus.
Brophy is celebrating Catholic Schools Week by offering "A Walk for Life" exhibit on campus. Care for creation, the unborn, LGBTQ persons, and the immigrant, and the fight against racism, the death penalty and euthanasia go hand in hand. Let's be pro-whole-life!
The 2021-2022 school year will introduce 3D Studio to "examine the process in which traditional craftsmanship is transferred to the digital world." The class, taught by Mr. Jared Reasy, will be a project based, full-year course incorporating tech, woodworking and metalworking.
