We are thrilled to welcome Coach Aja Ochie (@Coachajaoch) as the new head coach of our girls' basketball program!

Coach Ochie brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the game of basketball. Playing for Southeastern Louisiana from 2010-2014, Ochie was a two-time All-Southland Conference forward, finishing in the top ten in school history in: games played, career scoring, rebounding, free throws made, field goals made, and blocked shots.

Her coaching journey began at Independence High School, where she served as an assistant coach during the 2014-2015 season before being promoted to head coach in July 2015. Coach Ochie further honed her skills at the collegiate level, serving as an assistant coach for the Southeastern Louisiana University Lady Lions for the last nine years.
