Facts are stubborn...

Ruto is the greatest politician of our time!

1. Ruto joined elective politics (in 1997) when Raila Odinga was already vying for President.

2. The ONLY time Raila had majority in Parliament was when he had the support of Ruto in 2007

3. UDA party (barely 2 years old) has close to twice the MPs ODM has, even though ODM is over 10 years old.

4. Ruto vied for Presidency ONCE and won against the combined force of the incumbent and the Opposition Leader. While Raila has lost more than 4 times.

5. Ruto is already considered one of the most important voices in Africa (if not the most important voices in Africa) barely a year in office. Raila is still struggling to maintain control of Luo Nyanza.

In other words, Ruto is the Doyen and the TRUE ENIGMA of Kenyan Politics.

This is at another level. I love how the Ugandan Lwo (these are Acholi) have tried to maintain their cultures. The Luo of Kenya have largely lost our culture, which is horrible, in my opinion.
