बताया जा रहा है कि साहिल इतना इंटेलिजेंट था कि उसकी AIR Rank 614 थी।
मतलब, झूठ भी इस तरह बोला जाएगा कि आपको सच लगे।
साहिल की 614 रैंक उसकी अपनी SC कैटेगरी में थी। यानी उसकी Overall Rank कम से कम 20,000 से ऊपर रही होगी।

20,000 के आसपास की रैंक पर साहिल को जो कोर्स और IIT मिला, वह General Category के बच्चे को 2,000 रैंक पर भी नहीं मिलता।
यहाँ यह भी बता दूँ कि साहिल के पिता बैंक में अच्छे पद पर हैं और उसकी माँ शिक्षिका हैं और वह ipjone से ChatGPT use करता था ..

यानी, आर्थिक और सामाजिक स्थिति के लिहाज से वह कहीं से भी "दलित" नहीं था..

बस, इसी का नाम आरक्षण है।

मुझे तो लगता है कि साहिल ने पकड़े जाने के बाद अपने पिता के डर से ही आत्महत्या की होगी..पिता को देखकर सुनकर बहुत कुछ साफ हो रहा है..आत्महत्या की वजह शिक्षक की डांट के बजाय पिता का खौफ भी हो सकता है...
हो सकता है बच्चे पर इंजीनियर बनने का दबाव रहा हो..और ये कोई नई बात नहीं है..ऐसा अक्सर होता भी है..वो डर गया होगा कि पिता अब क्या करेंगे/कहेंगे!!!
किसी का बच्चा चला जाए और वो बिना देरी किए पैसों की मांग करने लगे तो कुछ तो अटपटा लगता है.. किसके सिखाए पर चल रहा है ये परिवार?
अगर बच्चे को वाकई परेशान किया जा रहा था तो ये पिता तीन महीने चुप बैठते? पहले ही SC/ST act लगा चुके होते प्रोफेसर पर..
अगर वाकई बच्चे को तंग किया जा रहा होता तो वो भी तो कुछ लिख सकता था पर उसने ऐसा नहीं किया..
बेवजह अपने ही बेटे का वीडियो वायरल करा दिया पैसे के लालच में..बहुत बुरा लग रहा है साहिल के लिए..बच्चा चला गया है..इस वीडियो को चलाने की ज़रूरत ही नहीं होनी चाहिए थी! Its painful!!

Having visited at least 2 top IIMs to deliver lectures and interacted with the management and students, I believe we must next anticipate an IIT Bombay like situation in IIMs. The Ambedkarite-Periyarite activism in these institutions has reached alarming levels. Wait and watch.

I don't want my 5 year old son to face the harsh realities of the reservation, acts and laws, when he grows up.

If one day, he asks me, why can't he get into the top IIT, but his SC/ST friend can, even with half his marks, and the same economic status, I will have no answer. I guess I will just have to say, it's because we don't care about merit, but representation.
