It has now been around 1,100 days since my father, Imran Khan, was imprisoned, and my brother and I haven’t heard his voice since March. For months, we’ve been denied contact with him. We remain in the dark about his access to healthcare as his eyesight continues to deteriorate. He urgently needs medical attention, and with no family or legal access, we don’t even get any second hand information or reassurance.

I’ve found myself especially missing him recently. I want to speak to him about mundane things like my cricket, books I’ve been reading and what new movies are good. I understand the people of Pakistan want their chosen leader free, but I miss my father more than ever.

But this is not just about a father. It is about Pakistan, and its future. A rigged, authoritarian regime continues to crush political opposition, undermine democratic institutions, and deny millions of Pakistanis their right to freely choose their leaders, whilst terrorising those who speak their beliefs.

I once again plea to the international community to not look away. Silence in the face of injustice only enables it.

It has never been abt justice or law but always abt vengeance for @AdvHadiali & @ImaanZHazir hence a sham trial, illegal conviction order & incarceration. Now almost 5 months of continuing injustice. Not everyone can get speedy justice like @CMShehbaz’s privileged children.

Unfortunately for Imaan & Hadi it’s never been abt justice for them, always been abt vengeance. So far it’s been 140 days of vengeance but seems appetites not satiated yet. Some children are privileged as they get speedy justice but my children had to suffer thru a sham trial, illegal conviction & now continuing incarceration!

It has always been abt vengeance, never abt justice for Imaan & Hadi. So unlike speedy justice for some privileged children, for Imaan & Hadi no justice till appetite for vengeance has been satiated.

ایمان اور ہادی ایسے سلوک کے بالکل بھی حقدار نہیں جو ان کے ساتھ روا رکھا جا رہا ہے نا تو انہوں نے کوئی دہشتگردی کی نا کوئی سنگین جرائم میں ملوث ہیں نا کوئی چوری ڈکیتی کی
وکیل ہیں رول آف لاء کے داعی ہیں ایسے ایسے لوگوں کے کیس کرتے رہے ہیں جن کے پاس فیس بھی نہیں ہوتی ایسے طبقات کی نمائندگی کرتے رہے جن کی نمائندگی کرنے والا کوئی نہیں
رائے کا ہی زیادہ سے زیادہ اختلاف ہے اس سے زیادہ کیا ہے پھر بھی نظام انصاف ان دو وکیل میاں بیوی کے ساتھ کیسا سلوک روا رکھے ہوئے ہے افسوس ناک ہے

صورتحال خود ہی دیکھ لیں سپریم کورٹ نے 12 مئی کو کہا 14 دن یعنی دو ہفتے میں سزا معطلی درخواستوں پر اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ فیصلہ کرے
بڑی مشکل سے 19 مئی کو جلد سماعت کی درخواست مقرر ہوئی تو غیر معمولی اعتراض درخواست پر اٹھا دیا گیا کہ سپریم کورٹ کے فیصلے کی مصدقہ کاپی نہیں ہے
20 مئی کو مصدقہ کاپی کے ساتھ سماعت ہوئی تو منتیں ترلے عدالت کے کئے گئے عید ہے عید سے پہلے کیس مقرر کر لیں لیکن عدالت نے یکم جون سماعت کے لیے مقرر کیا
یکم جون کو وہ پراسیکوشن جو سزا دلوانے کے لئے صبح سے شام ٹرائل کورٹ میں بیٹھی ہوتی تھی اس پراسیکوشن کی جانب سے ایک وکیل نے کہا وہ کہیں اور مصروف ہیں تو عدالت نے 4 جون کی تاریخ مقرر کر دی
دو جون کو 4 جون کی تاریخ (وجہ کا کچھ معلوم نہیں) کی کاز لسٹ کینسل کر دی گئی
آج 6 جون توقع تھی آئندہ ہفتے کیس مقرر ہو جائے گا آج بھی کاز لسٹ میں کیس مقرر نہیں ہوا
سپریم کورٹ کے 12 مئی کے 14 دن میں فیصلہ کرنے کے حکم میں آج 6 جون تک 25 دن گزر چکے ہیں اندازہ خود ہی لگا لیں چیف جسٹس یحییٰ آفریدی صاحب کی سپریم کورٹ کے حکم کے ساتھ کیا ہو رہا ہے

دوبارہ کہوں گا ایمان ہادی ایسے سلوک کے حقدار بالکل بھی نہیں
