A friend recently introduced me to Hasan Biriyani, a small restaurant in the Phetchaburi area that dishes out big flavored homestyle Bangladeshi cuisine.

@FBadmanBangkok I almost went to the Mesho Tokyo for lunch today as I was in the area. But I ended up popping into a new place on 33/1 called Chin Chin for some grilled mala chicken and noodles (which was pretty tasty!). It would have been nice to run into you!

There's a new wing place in Bangkok that's hiding. Visit the Lucky Panda branch at Phra Khanong and give the staff the passphrase "Don't be a chicken."

I've had some good bowls of pho in Bangkok but nothing I'd want to claim as "the best pho in Bangkok". Until now.

Pho Aroi has all the others beat and is worthy of the highest praise. Their pho is phenomenal in taste, in proportion, and in value.

This weekend my gal and I visited Feng Zhu เกี๊ยวซ่าหน้าเปิด with friends for some delicious dumplings and bowls of homemade noodles.

The little stand is located between River City and the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel. It's a GREAT place to get your noodle and dumpling fix!
