@Nancyl3xe@bigcowfarts@FOXLA I’m not so sure. I know social media is only a small percentage of the population but Reddit Los Angeles wants Ramen vs Bass. They don’t care about Pratt and the opinions of people who are fed up with these corrupt politicians who promise everything but deliver nothing.
@bigcowfarts@FOXLA Keep voting for crappy candidates for mayor and hoping for new results. But when a new tax comes up to pay for stuff that they can't budget for due to corruption, voters are now voting no to it. Bright side Measure ER is going to fail which would have increased sales tax again.
@FenrirMoon777@WestSeaSpirit Hilton got a seat at top 2 if results stay the same. The real victory is in the Nov General election. Will people vote for him or whatever generic Democrat is on the ballot. It'll be the same story Democrat wins 60%-40%. It's why CA GOP is weak and GOP doesn't put money into CA.
@WestSeaSpirit GOP winning the Governor race would need to have been Bianco and Hilton as top 2 candidates. Generic Democrat vs GOP will be a 60%-40% win in General election. Newsom survived 2 recalls. CA is nearly 50% registered Democrat. Hilton will need NPP/Independent support to win.
@Patcontreras13@CollinRugg They have to do the math with the remaining registered "uncounted" votes to push Steyer to top 2 with Becerra for a Democrat victory. It wouldn't matter anyways. CA is nearly 50% registered Democrat. Hilton will need to appeal to NPP/Independents to have a chance of winning.
@ChooseGoodKarma@Sgt_Mac87 All the candidates are trash. Bianco will bend the knee to the police unions, Becerra will be the latino Newsom, Steyer will bend the knee to climate and real estate billionaires, Mahan bend the knee for Tech billionaires, Hilton bends the knee for Trump.
@patcollects@LeBron__legacy Then @SHAQ would then use his remaining 5 fouls to drop step pivot & elbow to chest for a dunk. Chet would probably go on IR or die after the 2nd elbow. This clip is against the Admiral David Robinson an elite strong defensive center and he's getting pushed around.
@cenchance@krystalball Bass failed Palos Verdes and LA. Residents aren't going to vote for her again. Bass is also supporting Measure A which raises sales tax because of poor budgeting. People know that Ramen is going to be more of the same policies as Bass and want real change.
@RachelC78911375@KayeSteinsapir That's who these paid for accounts want. More of the same policies. Then complain why nothing is getting fixed, and blame Trump. Beg for more taxes, which the same politicians will say this tax will be taxing the rich, but in reality will tax the working class even more.
@SteffyReefy@unimpressedbufl@TheMaineWonk I liked Caruso. He decided to not run for mayor this time. Why people didn't like him was the media compared him to Trump because he is a Real Estate billionaire and he changed his political affiliation a few years back. He probably would win this time around.
@SteffyReefy@unimpressedbufl@TheMaineWonk It's hard to find that good candidate choice when both sides of the political and media machine are there to silence anyone who has the ideas and willingness to fix LA.
@SteffyReefy@unimpressedbufl@TheMaineWonk All the candidates are bad. Pratt is at least talking about the problems. Ramen and Bass will just continue to ignore the issues and their only solutions would be to continue to increase taxes. Example: Measure A is another .5 cent sales tax increase.
@Emett_FitzHume@BallsackSports True. Silver needs to look at the future as well. If SGA flopping is what kids now look to emulate, the NBA will not sustain popularity and won’t be as profitable long term. Games will be too long and slow with too many stoppages due to a lot of FTA per game for both teams.
@MiddleRights@_sn_n@MelissaJones27a If we're talking about building renovations. Newsom has already spent over 1.3 Billion dollars to renovate the Sacramento Capital building and construction is still ongoing. This project was only supposed to be 500 million.
@Reggie_FBK@LakeShowYo Trust the new ownership Guggenheim and Mark Walter. They aren't afraid to spend money and pay for scouts, development etc. Dodgers are where they are now because of their scouting. They have home talent, trading for young prospects, signing superstars and finding vets.
@PlayoffDude Nah. There's no depth. Lakers need depth to compete. OKC has a deep bench. In this OKC series we're seeing OKC waiting for Lakers starters to get gassed. OKC keeps score close and then blowout the lakers in the 3rd and 4th by 20+
