@LEROI90911218 Missing the point, Jean is a BADLY WRITTEN CHARACTER, this is not some Jean Gray hate boner the writing sucks. Loki was a well written compelling villain who had a long long had road to redemption in jeans case the movie implies that she doesn’t even need redemption
I think I finally understand what makes Zack Snyder’s superhero movies feel so different.
Most directors try to bring superheroes closer to us.
Snyder almost does the opposite.
He makes them feel like gods walking among ordinary people. Superman’s arrival feels almost biblical. Batman feels like a myth people whisper about. Their fights don’t just destroy buildings, they make you think about what would actually happen if beings this powerful existed around us.
The Russos made heroes feel human. Gunn makes them feel broken. Nolan makes them ideological.
Snyder made them feel mythical.
You can dislike his storytelling and still admit that very few superhero directors made power feel that heavy.
Maybe that was both the greatest strength and biggest weakness of his DC movies.
