As Christians on the Left, we enter this year with a commitment to walk faithfully, speak courageously, and work for the common good — trusting that God’s newness often begins in ordinary, faithful action.
May this year be one of hope, peace, and renewed courage.
As we step into a new year, we are reminded that God is always at work, renewing, restoring, & calling us to imagine what a more just & compassionate world could look like.
The “new thing” God brings is not just personal renewal, but hope for our communities & our politics
We see Christian Socialism lived out when people:
• support those in poverty
• help refugees & migrants
• campaign for climate justice
• stand with the marginalised
Faith → compassion → action.

✨ As we step into 2026, may we be people of justice, compassion, and hope. May our faith guide our politics, and our politics reflect our faith. Happy New Year from Christians on the Left.
From my family to yours, I wish you a very happy Christmas.
This is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christmas story, and the Christian values that define it.
Let’s look forward and celebrate the joy and hope that Christmas brings.
A faith that seeks justice, welcomes the stranger, and believes that light can still break through the darkness.
We hold fast to that hope, trusting that God is with us, and that love will lead us forward.
In the birth of Christ, hope entered the world quietly among the poor, the overlooked, and the weary. That same hope still calls to us today.
As we look to the future, we carry a faith that does not turn away from the world’s brokenness, but steps into it with love.
We’re grateful for everyone who makes up our Christians on the Left family. Members, volunteers, donors, MPs, and friends who believe faith has a vital voice in politics. Thank you for walking with us in faith and solidarity.
Every year we hold a Tawney Dialogue to talk about politics in a wider context. This year we marked 20 years since Make Poverty History, with David Smith MP, Paul Cook from @ONEinAmerica and Christine Allen from @CAFOD
Stay tuned for info on the Tawney Dialogue 2026!
As one year comes to a close and another begins, we remember that God’s care does not end at the turning of the calendar.
In our coming and our going, in moments of action and of rest, God remains with us.
This year, Christians on the Left celebrated 65 years as an organisation. For 65 years we have brought believers together to live that calling out in politics
If you long to see faith shaping politics, this is your invitation
