WoW Senior Game Producer Tom Ellis has deleted his X account after backlash over his comments about Blizzard’s handling of offensive character names.

Ellis said players banned or forced to rename characters like “Billy Mcsuckmahballz” deserved it,“I read the list. No sympathy. Be a better human next time.”

Users then dug up Ellis’s old posts from around 2009–2010, including a tweet using a homophobic slur for his gaming team, a Pedobear phone wallpaper, and several crude r@pe jokes.
