The Cost of Living: The price of a bag of rice, Sierra Leone’s staple food, rose from Le 235,000 in 2018 to Le 360,000 in 2021. By Dec 2024, the price had skyrocketed to NL 1,020, marking a jaw-dropping 183.3% rise in just three years.
