When 5-year-old Easton Blocker at Bobby G. Lester Elementary School in Arkansas was asked to dress up as his favorite person, he didn’t choose a superhero, celebrity, or cartoon character.
He chose Officer Jeffery Cross, the school’s security guard.
Easton showed up proudly wearing a yellow “Junior Security” shirt and black pants, perfectly matching the man who made him feel safe every single day.
To Easton, Officer Cross wasn’t just security, he was kindness, protection, and a true friend.
A touching reminder that children often look up to the quiet heroes who show up consistently, the ones who protect and care without ever seeking the spotlight.
I have undertaken this project to put a face to 9/11 by posting photos of everyone killed that day. If after everything that happened you can vote for the ideology that brought it about it is as if you are killing them yourself! Pictured below was 31 year old firefighter Richard Dennis Allen who was killed in the North Tower. He was from Rockaway, New York which was my hometown and they lost 70 to 80 people that day because many firefighters lived there. He had spent that Saturday with his family at the beach and it's so good they had quality time with him before the unthinkable was going to happen. To forget even a single one of these people is a blasphemy!
Many ruthless dictators are very charismatic; and they're experts at giving the masses a group of people to blame all their woes on. That's a couple of the many ways they're able reel people into their theology.
