At tonight’s meeting, the Board of Education granted Tenure to 23 #WeAreChappaqua educators, and celebrated 1 other who received Tenure at a prior BOE meeting. Congratulations to all on reaching this career milestone!
Final exam review can be overwhelming, and so this week, we rolled out the following resources:
- A Final Exam One-Pager combining all of our review resources together in one Google Doc
- An overview of some research on how we learn to help prepare for all exams

@LauralynStewar1@ski626 From the performances to the A/V, last night’s performance was entirely student run - absolute pros from beginning to end. Thank you to Mrs. Walker for chaperoning in my place! Here’s a pic of the grad and my crew from yesterday!
@LauralynStewar1@ski626 These videos are so great, @LauralynStewar1 ! Shout out to the students in both groups - two months ago, I realized the concert coincided with my brother’s college graduation, but this was the date that worked for the most members, and they were determined to make it happen!
Celebrating year ten of teaching and Annabelle’s first day of daycare - hope everyone out there has a great first week of school! #WeAreChappaqua#BackToSchool
Congrats to the Greeley Fed Challenge Team! This year, they are recognized as one of the winners of the High School Fed Challenge, hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and they will be published in the 2022 Journal of Future Economists! #WeAreChappaqua@Greeley_Math
Today was our last class before the AP Calc BC exam! Thank you to @LinMc2 for his BC FRQ Analysis chart, as we were all excited to use it to anticipate the types of FRQs students will see on Monday. Which topics do you think will come up? @Greeley_Math#WeAreChappaqua#CalcBC
Missing both the #Wordle and the #Heardle on the same day calls for an uplifting video. Here’s a TikTok that my wife, @gabigailgilliam, made for our daughter’s first birthday last week. On to a new streak tomorrow! https://t.co/ID9bRpPCoG
@PlateKaitlyn I thought it was y = x, but then when you zoomed out, I thought it was y = x - (x^3)/(3!), and then when you zoomed out again, I thought it was y = x - (x^3)/(3!) + (x^5)/(5!)…I wonder…
Reflecting on and thankful for a packed professional development day @chappaqua_csd - thinking about ways to further align what we value in learning experiences to how we use time in our classrooms.
Here is a resource that Mrs. Korman and I created for our session that helps!
@DrKnicki@DrAPease @MsALee21 @Greeley_Math@sharondforman That’s exactly it, @DrKnicki - and it’s a small detail, but you’ll notice that this group even had each member use their marker to outline a side of the box with their names. Tons of teamwork!
