The NW students are excited for a great day at the Museum of Science and Industry! Thank you to the Woods Foundation for sponsoring this yearly trip for the fifth graders of Logan County.
The NW students did an excellent job of performing this evening. Mr. Young and the NW staff did an excellent job of preparing our students te for their first performance in two years. I would also like to thank @mwork23 for allowing us to borrow the LJHS gym.
We love our principals - they play an important role in helping #Lincoln27andBeyond inspire healthy lifestyles for students AND supporting the latest CATCH-inspired movement toward from-scratch foods in our cafeterias. Invite your friends to watch this latest video!
@27Elementary
We had a great crowd tonight for our annual Safe Trick or Treating at Northwest. We had 500 people come through the building tonight. We would like to thank the staff that made it possible, Officer Fruge for passing out candy, and the Railer Wash for sponsoring a balloon station!
Northwest students had the pleasure to learn about hot air balloons this morning. Donna Carlton, the pilot of “Sunny Side Up”, discussed with our students how hot air balloons fly. The students had the opportunity to go inside a cold inflated balloon as well.
CLASS OF THE DAY! Thanks to the kindergarten students at Northwest Elementary in Lincoln for their hospitality and enthusiasm during my class visit on Thursday. @KentFroebe District 27 Schools
