@warrenallsworth I think the timings haven't helped has veen really hard to get into some of these games with some starting really late. 48 teams will be better in the long run, the quality will with the ezposure some of these smaller nations are getting.
@Martynw34 Equally if she draws one of the British players and beats them it'll be incredibly embarrasing for British Women's tennis which is already in a really bad position considering depth and recent performancees conpared to what the men have been doing recently.
@Martynw34 I reckon she's just testing the waters and looking for a win or two to end her career but her fans will expect the old Serena which won't happen. She'll also be hyped up to buggery by BBC and it'll make her look shit if she loses strainght away even if she plays welll.
@joshpearson180@dartingupdates@dazi180turtle I believe the WDF are still trying to submit a bid to be recognised by the IOC, would be good to get an update on that as its been a good couple years since it was renewed.
@dartingupdates This is irrelevant unfortunately as darts isn't recognised as a sport by the IOC. The WDF we're exploring a bid before Covid-19 and I believe they are still looking to get one submitted after the IOC changed its guidelines. If successful then darts probably has a chance.

@warrenallsworth@itsocheagain Unless you offer more international qualifier opportunities to top 64 players I don't think you can even think about dropping the number of PDPA qualifier spots.
@JJIdsardi I don't think that matters in this context, as he's always going to be an uqualified pplayer and they'd have to keep the option open for him incase he decides to change his decision.
@JJIdsardi But surely once he wins the qualifier he becomes a qualified player, in a way he's only formally unqualified once he formally rejects the place after the event.
@JJIdsardi No I believe it still would go to the qualifier after re-reading the rules if he beats Tata in the final as the spot would go to the runner-up of the event who would already be qualified.
