@ShehabKhan Sorry for, and shocked by, the racist outpouring. Iโll be watching the documentary because Iโm interested - thank you for the opportunity ๐
Tonight, we're in Camden @CamdenCouncil as they pass motion to make care experience a protected characteristic. @TerryGalloway#changeiscoming.Children in care are still children.
@VascoAdam Iโll miss him, as Iโm a fan of football and what it can achieve off the pitch - he is a special king of person. I wish he would have come to Chelsea ๐คฆโโ๏ธโค๏ธ
Really helpful description of how @damien_page at @_BNUni has approached workload- identify a small number of core business activities (eg student outcomes) and focus on these in the workload allocation, whilst reducing/removing activities that arenโt focussed on core business ๐
@damien_page โฆ and just like that โฆ you turned a loss into a win, a failure into a success, an ailing organisation into a thriving life force ๐ช ๐ช
Lots of young people in the care system are being placed in unsuitable accommodation. Some of these places do not have cooking facilities, no hobs, no oven, just a kettle. I asked one young person what his go-to meal was with very little money and nothing to cook with. He said mash potatoes with cold beans. He boiled the potatoes in the kettle.
Imagine being 16,17, and 18 years old, and this is all you have to look forward to on Christmas Day. It saddens me that 28 years later, children living in unregulated accommodation are still surviving on the same ingredients. #changeiscoming
@MilitaryBanter Thatโs bullshit! Weak SNCOs. I let my team get whatever kit they needed, and asked them to report back on effectiveness, which I feedback to battalion - CoC happy to know lads are equipped well ๐ช
