...an even madder Autozam AZ-1 came from RE Amemiya and GReddy: the VI AZ-1 of 1996.

In fairness retaining little more than the gullwing doors of the AZ-1, its shape was inspired by a Group C racer and its 2.0L rotary was turbo'ed to as much as 500hp!
