Manchester United is BROKEN. Not just on the pitch. The entire institution is fractured — from the boardroom, through the finances, down to the very soul of what this club once represented. For twenty years the Glazers treated Old Trafford like an ATM. They loaded our club with over £500m of debt to finance their own leveraged takeover. That debt never went away. Interest payments alone have drained hundreds of millions that should have funded trophies, not private family wealth. They turned supporters into customers. Ticket prices spiralled. Hospitality packages became luxury items. Matchday became unaffordable for the working-class communities who actually built this club in 1878. The people who queued in the rain for standing tickets, who sang until their voices gave out — priced out of their own cathedral. Then the football collapsed. Ten straight seasons without a genuine title challenge. Nine permanent managers since Sir Alex left. Zero league titles. Zero European finals. A trophy cabinet that gathers dust while our rivals built modern dynasties. The football became joyless, directionless, soulless. Possession without purpose. Defending without heart. Players wearing the shirt but not understanding its weight. INEOS arrived with big promises: sporting structure, best-in-class recruitment, long-term vision. What have we actually seen? More of the same reactive windows. More expensive mistakes. More disconnect. More excuses. Enough. This is about twenty years of systematic decline being dressed up as “business as usual”. This is about whether Manchester United still belongs to Manchester. We march because silence = acceptance. We march because apathy = surrender. We march for the thousands who save for months to buy a ticket only to watch turgid, passionless football. We march for the kids in the academy who deserve a real pathway, not just PR photo ops. We march for the legends who look at today’s United and can’t recognise it. We march for the next generation who should inherit glory, not decline. We demand: • Measurable, meaningful reduction in the debt burden • Ticket prices frozen — and reduced — for match-going supporters • Genuine investment in youth development, not just marketing slogans • Transparency about football decisions, not boardroom spin • Leadership that actually understands what the name “Manchester United” means to people If you remember what it felt like when United meant fear, when it meant romance, when it meant something bigger than profit margins… Then walk with us.
