@EsTresidder That’s impressive. How many kWh is that and what m2? Do you think you are better off with a2a and a heat pump cylinder than the a2w that most heat pumps are?
The schools are back open and you can soak in that small-town feeling once again as everyone drives the 1 or 2 kilometers to drop the kids at school, or get a liter of milk and a newspaper. Impossible to get anywhere otherwise, unless you drive (preferably an SUV).
Thanks to @shattenstone for such a kind essay in the @guardian it was a pleasure to meet you but I feel so bad now for not having a sandwich ready ! And to @ben_quinton for the photos

@ThisIsProtos It’s hard to know what is truly green. We have a plastic waste problem as we all use too much single use plastic. Recycling it or extracting energy from it locally is better than it ending up being burnt on a beach in Turkey!

A quick poll for people living in England (with apologies to everyone else).
If we had PR rather than FPTP, and your vote counted 100% no matter which constituency you lived in, what party would you vote for at the next general election?

I’m staggered by the lack of reaction to the IPCC report. There’s almost no significant action. I don’t think we can get it until the media screams the full truth to the public & I see almost no one in the media who understands that this is true: New tactics needed urgently.
