Meet Feathershot, my latest Windows app. Snip as usual, and Feathershot adds a gradient background, padding and a soft shadow in one click.

Mine has paid for itself tenfold because I used it to help in the development of a startup that I work for. As for building my own apps, not so much. I think the only thing lacking at this point is just distribution. I’m trying to build more of a social presence and I guess I’m gonna try and do a distribution course on LinkedIn or somewhere.

@Tony__Strange Hi 👋🏽, I’m currently working on a teleprompter app for Windows. Would love to connect.

[Chris Shim @ChrisCreateGame]

@Gaus450 Wait, did they actually change AI to SI?

@pixel2ai That’s called adapting 💪🏽

[Chris Shim @ChrisCreateGame]

@valerioamirani @ZenovayDX I’m using Google Analytics for all of my marketing websites. No real user onboarding process for any of my apps as yet but I’ll definitely keep you in mind for the future.

Hey X 👋 I'm Chris. Dev by day, indie app builder by night, dad always.

Shipped Feathershot 🪶 and Kanban Lite 📋. Now building Owlcue 🦉, a teleprompter you control from your phone.

What are you building on this fine Sunday ?

[Chris Shim @ChrisCreateGame]

@je4ndev Thank you. I’m gonna take a look at MepMail as well!

[Chris Shim @ChrisCreateGame]

@RThadt The are actually a lot of terrible dads that click that logout button 💀

Thank you to the Feathershot beta testers 🙏

A group of Jamaican developers jumped in early, put Feathershot through its paces, and gave me honest, useful feedback. Several of them also left great reviews on the Store listing, which means a lot for a new indie app.

To say thanks, I gave each of them a lifetime key. They helped make it better, so they get it for life.

I also use Feathershot every day. Every screenshot I post now goes through it, so Im building this for myself as much as for anyone else.

@IndieGameJoe I love the concept! Can't wait to see one of my favorite youtubers play this.

@ShazXcode @Saanvi_dhillon Kinda feels bad that vercel is the ai slop indicator when I have been using vercel for forever now.

[Chris Shim @ChrisCreateGame]

@Kishan_Devani_ @Saanvi_dhillon They would literally have to go out of their way to do that lol.

[Chris Shim @ChrisCreateGame]

@vickey4t Appreciated!

@Ali_Homsi Not sure if it is the best still but I have been buying all of my domains from GoDaddy since 2013. I don’t really use any of their features - just purchase the domain and revisiting occasionally to add subdomains to the dns.
