🚩Young Communist League statement in solidarity with the Association for the Protection of the Rights of Political Prisoners and Human Rights as those rights are violated by the Zelenskyy regime and capitalist states rally behind it.
We see the same persecutions in the Britain as the state targets communists, trade unionists, Palestine activists, and environmentalists with draconian anti protest laws.
Solidarity! 💪

August 2026 was the hottest on record.
Capitalism is unable and unwilling to solve the crisis that it has created.
A planned economy and the example of the socialist countries can help us to save the planet and humanity.

A plan is being developed to convert Europe’s car factories to military production. The German government is actively pushing tie-ups between its “beleaguered car industry” and its “booming defence sector”. Volkswagen’s Osnabrück plant has already been handed over to the Israeli arms company Rafael to manufacture parts for the so-called Iron Dome – the purpose of which is to allow Israel to carry out its genocidal and expansionist project without fear of retaliation.
It’s a bad strategy on multiple levels.
It’s bad politically, because it feeds three ongoing disasters: genocide in Gaza, the proxy war against Russia, and the criminal US-Israeli war on Iran and Lebanon. Binding European industry to those projects doesn’t make Europeans safer or more prosperous; rather, it makes the continent a permanent logistical rear base for wars decided in Washington and Tel Aviv.
It’s bad strategically, because it deepens Europe’s commitment to US geostrategy. The German car industry is “beleaguered” for well-known reasons: Berlin joined the sanctions war on Russia and cut itself off from cheap pipeline gas. It cheered on a war on Iran that sent energy prices through the roof. It failed to invest in technology or its workforce. It limited its cooperation with China. All these decisions essentially serve a US agenda. And now the proposed remedy for a crisis manufactured by Atlanticism is… more Atlanticism.
It’s bad economically, because arms production is not a sound industrial strategy. Sustainable growth comes from housing people, educating people, keeping people alive, productive investment in transport, green energy, modern supply chains, etc. Developing the means of production, not the means of destruction. Ordinary people in Europe are already paying the bill for this madness in the form of energy costs, inflation, austerity, wage stagnation, crumbling services and infrastructure. European arms companies are doing well, but the mass of the population is being impoverished.
Europe has a choice: it could use its industrial base to build the green transition, cooperate extensively with China, restore normal relations with Russia and Iran, adapt to multipolarity and pursue a policy of indivisible security. Or it can pin its hopes on the US-Israeli war machine.

Your Prime Minister is encouraging you to donate to a charity to help the homeless - this is Cameron's "big society" garbage all over again - as COVID showed, homelessness can be ended overnight, with an interventionist state and political will - this trash is just insulting
“the task facing trade unionists is not to interpret government policy but to change it”

A 77 grand a year Scottish Greens MSP telling the white rough sleeper in Glasgow tonight that he or she is the beneficiary of 'white privilege' is repellent.
The Scottish Greens are an anti working class party of middle class ideologues for whom who you choose to shag is deemed more important, politically, than how you manage to eat.
Progressive language, zero material action. The easy route for all careerists who've never known struggle but get to pick and choose that which has the most cultural capital for nothing but self-gain.
None of them care about the poor, regardless of race. That's the reality.
The ruling class, and their bought and paid for politicians and media, spread hatred and division to distract from the real problems of the system and the real culprit.
Working people shouldn’t be fooled. Unity is our strength. Capitalism is the enemy.

On this day in 1979, Chairman Mao, hero and leader of Chinese people in their resistance to Japanese fascism and the foundation of the People’s Republic, passed.
Mao’s contribution to world socialism lives on today in the stunning achievements of socialist China and its peoples.
We’ve just lived through another extreme summer.
Capitalism is unable and unwilling to solve the climates crisis it has created.
