PARENTS & TEACHERS
If you love the weather — or you’re a teacher planning a fun and interactive way to explore it with your class — then this calendar is for you!
Ever since I was seven years old, I’ve been fascinated by the weather — watching clouds, chasing snow, and keeping my own weather notes. Now I’d love you to join me on a journey through the weather of 2026.
This isn’t just a calendar… it’s your year-long weather project! You can be a meteorologist by observing what the weather’s been like and popping a sticker on the date to show the most dominant weather of the day. Rainy? Sunny? Cloudy? Snowy? You decide!
There’s enough symbols for a season in your pack but if you want to continue all year you can pick up more from https://t.co/ntTgrlrS5P.
Each month brings a new surprise — simply scan the QR code to watch a special video from me, where we’ll look back at some of the exciting weather highlights from the past month, share fun Scottish weather facts, and I may give you a sneak peek at what might be coming next. You or your school might even get a special mention!
Here’s to a year of weather-watching, learning, and lots of sunny days in 2026!

It's been really interesting working on this 📺 with @FoodTrainScot as it highlights deepening concern about the number of older people in Scotland at risk of becoming malnourished - and the action that's needed to tackle the issue. #MAW2024@messagetweet
