Going to plead with you to do me a favour here.
Give this 15 minute album a listen. Just one listen... Well, at least.
If you can't, no problem. Just retweet this tweet so it reaches more ears(/eyes).
Thanks (altho you should be thanking me really)

Having a player with his level of game breaking quality is just...
He genuinely used to rival KDB for chance creation numbers from FB yunno.
This is a player you build your team and system around and try to platform.
I still can’t believe he left man. Used to blow my mind watching him every single game. He’s probably the most underrated footballer OAT in my honest opinion, I don’t care if he isn’t an elite defender, he’s the best passer ever when you take into account the overall variety of his passing package as well as the quality.
Can't express enough my excitement at the Andrey Santos deal. Great on every level...
The acumen to ID him in the first place
His cost
His level as a player
His versatility.
He's going to be an insane signing.
@kabirtxts Unless an insanely good opportunity is found again, we do not NEED to spend 70+
If someone like Baleba is available under that price, too good to pass on.
I'll hawk Mount myself in that case
@kabirtxts Maybe in central defence
But the profiles we have in midfield are all fairly smart and secure on the ball. I trust them to keep the ball and counter press well
This season we need to trust Yoro and Heaven more.
Sign a supreme athlete to replace Licha or De Ligt if we can sell
Andrey Santos is the #6 Manchester United needed for years.
Casemiro was great, but he was too ambitious with his passing and unreliable with his execution because of that. He also lacked mobility defensively.
Santos has a worse passing range but it is better in every other regard.
Plus, although his passing range is shorter, his ability to organise the game around him, to retain, to circulate, and to progress play when required is all MILES ahead of Casemiro.
He is like Michael Carrick in that sense. A conductor who can play one or two touch football off of both feet. #6's like this are BEYOND rare.
Defensively, he is mobile, tenacious, intelligent positionally, delays in the duel, has an excellent leap, and diligent to track runners… he’s no Declan Rice but that’s not the bar. The bar is Fabinho, Partey, Busquets, Rodri — #6’s are less mobile than many think. Santos is on that level.
He is 22 with the brain of a 32 year-old.
For £50m, this is one of the best deals in the entire transfer window both quality AND value-wise.
👏
Unless there are sales, there is no real need to spend more money.
I'd quite readily sell:
Rashford, Zirkzee, Mount
To a lesser extent and only for very good fees:
De Ligt, Maz, Amad.
Now, it's about looking for the best market opportunities that come up.
No pressure.
I'd argue that we do not need any other midfield signings now.
Mainoo, Bruno, Mount, Santos, Tielemans... 5 starting quality players to cover 3 midfield positions.
Let an academy lad be trusted to take the 6th position until January.
I'm sure Carrington has at least one.
Feel bad for Lammens with that mistake
But he's a mentality monster, I'm glad thinking about how he's gonna lock in now going forward with united, just watch
