Recall: Mr.Sreekumar waited "only" 8hrs before having his tragic waiting room death.
I wonder if any of our MLAs or the Premier would sit in any of our ED WRs for THIRTEEN HOURS with chest pain?
7/11
The provincial portion of our property taxes which goes to education, increased dramatically this year, not to fund public education but to fund Danielle Smith’s charter schools. I didn’t vote for this.
Former Alberta Finance senior manager Lennie Kaplan knows his way around numbers.
And his calulator is painting a fairly dire picture for separation:
-Our economy shrinks by 7.2% in year one
-Personal income drops 6.2%
-Business invesment falls 8%
-Boosts trade costs by 12%

No I absolutely did not. Every $ of our funding comes from public donation with a max of $4600/person per Elections Alberta rules. Brett's spreading BS about me cuz he told me he's heavily invested in the Blackstone mine (named in our Water Not Coal petition) via Valory Resources
The Smith UCP government deliberately crushed Alberta’s then-leading renewable energy industry, at the cost of at least $30 billion in lost investment and thousands of lost jobs. But they’re happy to use public money to promote data centres that many communities don’t want.
The only predictable thing in life is that you and your family will one day be sick. When that happens you want to be seen by an ER MD quickly and confidentially. That's what Canada's ER MDs are fighting for. We'd like your support as it's not clear policymakers listen to us.
So AB, if you’re calling an ambulance and getting sent to the one of our Edmonton EDs, bring a book or two… and now an umbrella.
(Actual pictures shared w me!)
Our EDs are literally overflowing… w pts AND the endless rain now too!
And our Premier and Minister hold a press conference to re-announce an old funding policy for surgeries!
We are saying no to a data centre in Île-des-Chênes because there are big threats to the environment and not much benefit to the economy.
Our message to any tech company out there… if you want to build technology with a thoughtful, human-centred approach that puts humanity first, then Manitoba is open for business. 🦬
Think about this… so many seniors in nursing homes w dementia and medical reasons for it to be difficult to renew their new license (when they don’t even drive!)
Do they all get kicked off of their HC coverage?
I have never had to prove my citizenship to renew my license, work, pay my taxes, or vote in my life. Welcome to 1930s Germany, er, I mean 2026 in Alberta!
Why does this card need to include citizenship status? To facilitate racism and xenophobia? To make it easier to deny tax-paying non-citizens health care and education? To help police in profiling and surveilling immigrants?
Very good evidence that private pay access does NOT benefit all.
Govt can’t protect services already.
Letting more workforce leave to private firms profit streams will only make this worse.
