a friend asked me to drive her to the airport at 4:00 a.m.
and, well… that’s what friends do, right?
I woke up at 3:20, barely functioning, drove across town, and dropped her off.
on my way home, I stopped for coffee.
I opened Instagram…
and the first story I saw was a photo from her plane seat that said,
“nothing’s better than having people who’ll do everything for you.”
@TLRailUK@DokneyKnog Any updates on the trains from Peterborough to Stevenage? I’m currently at Sandy and the information boards just say delayed with no expected times
@narindertweets In my opinion the difference comes down to a really simply difference.
Gary was employed/contracted by the BBC which is funded by the taxpayer.
Rylan was on a commercial tv programme which has nothing to do with the tax payer.
@SeanyBoyy89 Smuggling gang profits. There’s no money in moving people over land borders, but money in moving them over the channel. The smugglers sell a dream so they can get money.
That’s my opinion anyway 🤷
@leakylike I’m pretty sure that 6ft Jim from the shoes department wouldn’t approach a teenage girl in the lingerie department, unless she should looked lost/bewildered etc.
@johnnyboy9918@MikeyCycling That’s a fair point, although it’s not compulsory.
I would guess (and it’s only a guess) that the majority of cyclists don’t have it.
@Eyeswideopen69 As far as I am aware, everywhere this has been tried and tested has been in the private sector. There is a huge difference between it working in the public sector and then translating that into the private sector
