@kentcdodds I’ve done honeypot with Google recaptcha V3 with great results. Recaptcha was added after finding bots skipping the honeypot field. If recaptcha scores below our threshold we have a custom error page to direct you back to the form and try again. Fortunately, it’s rarely needed
@reallygoodemail I sent an email intended for 500 contacts to 2.5 million contacts 🙈 those 500 received a beautiful, email with dynamic personalization while the rest saw a header and a footer… no body content. I didn’t follow protocol for fallback content or complete the pre-send checklist.
@emailfromnaomi Totally agree with you that basics are the best in my experience. For my clients we design the emails intent to advertise and redirect to the website. From the ESP, knowing clicks on that email is all we need. 5 seconds or 5 minutes reading doesn’t change much for us.
@pompeii79 I’ve been slowly learning Git for maybe a year now. A few months ago I was doing some reorganizing and improving documentation. Two weeks ago I found I replaced a repo with the wrong files. I was able to revert but lost the local work I never committed 😭
@nicki___g It’s like being a director in management vs being an executive. Sure you can be CEO without an MBA but it’ll help get you there faster. So, you wanna be “Director of Stuff, Nicki Grouge” or “CEO up in dis bish, Nick Grouge”?
@RodriguezCommaJ I find in general there’s confusion between Deliverability and Delivery Rate. I often hear “I have a 99% Deliverability rate” and they’re actually talking about delivery rate.
@JakeSucky@PowerGPU I want to win because I love to game with my childhood friends but it’s hard with an outdated rig and can’t play the same games. It’s the only time I get to spend with them now that we’re spread out. Every cent now goes to bills and my daughter so I can’t afford a new one
