If it's sapience then you will have to agree that it would be fine for to mass farm all non sapient animals (including cats, dogs, lions, rhinos, giraffes etc.)

Feral cats regularly suffer immensely. You seem to have a very idealistic view of how animals live in this world that is far from the reality

It's to show compassion and benevolence. How does ANY of that apply to farming animals? The "humane" myth is nothing more than industry propaganda

And farmed animals are self-aware so they should all have individual rights. Pigs are more intelligent than dogs even
