@DGabrielliSmith @TrouserdogSCFC Yes-was there for that and remember it. As I’ve said, i don’t really care how we play, I just want to see us try and do something. It’s felt for a long time that we just pick XI names and just see what happens. A football manager’s main responsibility is to coach his/her team.
@TrouserdogSCFC West Brom at home. Forest at home. Barnsley (I think this was the game where we missed loads of chances). Those games were some of the best football we’ve played since the PL days.
@TrouserdogSCFC Why we weren’t sending everyone up and launching in their box is beyond me. Particularly when Powell was winning most headers anyway! 2/2
@TrouserdogSCFC However - my football philosophy will be different to AN’s. I don’t really give a toss, I just want to try and see us implement something. Some form of plan. We had a free kick on 80 minutes around 30 yards from our goal and Souttar passed it back to Wilmot. 1/2
@TrouserdogSCFC It’s fine for this to change game by game. And it’s important to note that the one player we have with the low centre of gravity who plays on the half turn, isn’t getting a look in. Criminal the amount of game time DWP has had. 2/2
@TrouserdogSCFC I disagree. I’m not writing AN off yet but I’m yet to see an attempt to play to anyone’s strengths. Most pairings out of Gayle/Campbell/Delap/Brown (probably include Powell) could work. But whatever pair you play you have to play with a style that suits. 1/2
@DUCKmagstoke If we start beating shite sides, he’ll be playing for a play-off chasing Championship side!!
The 5 points we’ve dropped against Rotherham are the difference between us and the play offs.
I like the lad but Jordan Thompson is the most passive footballer I’ve watched. You wouldn’t know if you were 1 down or 3 up watching him in possession with 5 minutes to go. Zero balls in possession.
