Tonight was the last @GameDevDrinkUp of the year and the end of the first full year I've hosted in Seattle. I'm very grateful for the community I've found here. It's been a scary year for me and I still don't know where I belong but I truly love the game industry.

So disheartened to see even more layoffs in the game industry. Everyone from newcomers to veterans have been impacted with thousands of lives thrown in to disarray this year. This is despite being one of the best years for games themselves. This is not okay.

@Tenacious_Diaz Ratchet and Clank was one of the big reasons I wanted to make games. The Insomniac Museum was inspirational for the behind the scenes work that went into making the games.

I'm seriously happy the series continues to be awesome to this day.

I took the day off to enjoy the beautiful weather at the @uwcherryblossom festival. There's just something special about it that makes you feel peaceful happiness.

I've been seeing stories from women who were dismissed, harassed, or even roofied at GDC events this past week. All people deserve to feel safe and welcome in the game industry and not afraid of being abused. This is completely unacceptable.
