The Natalie Harp story actually isn’t about Natalie. It’s about priorities. Natalie. The Ballroom. The reflecting pool. Qatari Jets. It isn’t about mocking whatever is going on between Natalie and Trump. Although it’s obviously odd indeed. It’s that the American people are suffering while Trump has Natalie always by his side throwing golf tournaments for himself where he is always the winner, hiding in catering containers from the country he got us into a war with, and pretending he is personally installing black marble into the White House floors, or whatever odd thing he is doing each day. The American people know Trump doesn’t care about them. Natalie, and all his side quests, are about exalting the ego-stroking of a deeply disturbed malignant narcissist while fully ignoring role of the Presidency and the meaning of public service.
