In the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 16:6 and following Jesus speaks of the “false leaven of the Pharisees”. It is worth noting that this immediately precedes Jesus’ question in Matthew 16:13-20, “who do people say that I am?”. The message is clear that if we know who Jesus is we will also know the “false leaven” that betrays Him.

We have this false leaven in the Church today with priests and bishops teaching against the message of the Gospel. They speak of unity but forget that our only real unity is in Jesus Christ. Unity with His Sacred Heart gives us the strength and courage to reject the “false leaven”.

Pray that Pope Leo XIV will call out these wolves and guard the deposit of faith.

The Catholic faith is not ambiguous, compromised and malleable; it is clear, true and beautiful. We must proclaim Jesus Christ boldly and correct false shepherds who lead the sheep astray. Failure to speak against the false leaven, failure to correct false shepherds who behave like wolves, leaves the sheep abandoned and in danger.

Silence allows the ravening wolves to attack the vulnerable sheep.
