I Built a business.
Lost it.
Went into debt trying to save it.
Spent years at a bank helping families untangle their finances.
Then COVID hit and I got laid off.
Now I’m building a Catholic approach to financial freedom I wish I had years ago.

@Isabelletkrause This is underrated advice. Most people don’t even know what their own thoughts are anymore. We’re always distracted by noise. Screens everywhere you look, music constantly blasting, you can’t think when you’re distracted.
@ScotIrish12@Pontifex SC 14 literally uses those words. “Full, conscious, and active participation” as a right and duty of every baptized Catholic. That’s the Vatican’s own language, not a modernist gloss on it.
@PonderHart@Pontifex These are two different points. Singing and praying in mass is active worship, what the council asked for and what the Holy Father is referring to here. Of course it makes no sense to participate in mass and not live the values in the real world but both are important.
It’s noon.
Morning motivation? Gone.
Afternoon demons hitting harder than your last bad trade.
But your body is a temple, not a timeshare.
Your portfolio needs a disciplined steward, not a snack goblin.
One right choice right now (walk, prayer, skip the doomscroll, review that budget) and you’re winning.
How’s your discipline holding up, or are we all just pretending? 🔥

@Pontifex The pews are not bleachers. We are meant to be active participants, not passive observers. Lumen Gentium made that clear: the whole People of God shares in the prophetic, priestly, and kingly mission of Christ. A fresh reading of these documents couldn’t come at a better time.
