MISSING:
Two arrested on suspicion of abduction as search for missing Rotherham girl Cassidy continues
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of abduction and remain in police custody as we continue to search for missing Rotherham girl Cassidy.
Cassidy, who is 14 years old, was last sighted on CCTV in Bridgegate in Rotherham town centre at 7.11pm on Sunday (29 March).
Since then, numerous enquiries have been carried out to locate Cassidy, with officers carrying out CCTV trawls, house-to-house visits and searches of the local area, while also examining phone records.
Our enquiries have led to us arresting a 60-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of abduction. They remain in police custody at this time.
Cassidy is white, 5ft 4ins tall, with very long ginger hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black leggings and carrying a small handbag but it's believed she may have changed clothes.
Cassidy is known to frequent the Thurcroft area and Clifton Park.
Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Cassidyβs welfare and want to speak to anybody who has seen her.
Do you know where she might be? Have you seen Cassidy since she's been missing?
We would urge anyone with information about Cassidy's whereabouts to please contact with us immediately.
You can call us on 101 or make a report to us via our website.
Please quote incident number 622 of 29 March 2026 when you get in touch.

@rewindtvuk Without a doubt, it has to be a 60's Sci-Fi classic "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" I've mentioned it to several satellite channels and never had a reply. Also, I'd like to see "Strange Report" a while ago you showed Department S & Jason King both fantastic, SR in that genre
Britain is a police state.
UK: A British man was arrested at 4am, in front of his cancer-stricken wife, for saying he dislikes seeing Palestinian flags everywhere on social media.
No threat. No violence. Just an opinion.
This isnβt democracy.
This is totalitarianism.
