Moved by the passing of SC Villa captain David Owori, who succumbed to the injuries he sustained during a violent attack by armed thugs. My condolences go to his family, friends, teammates and the entire football fraternity. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Disturbingly, David’s tragic death comes just a few weeks after the violent killing of rugby player Gongodyo by a mob. It is deeply alarming that citizens continue to lose their lives to violent crimes of this nature while the regime keeps boasting about having restored peace and security! David Owori’s life shouldn't have ended this way.

Here is a video of comrade Johnbosco Kibalama before he was abducted. As you can see, he was a very committed comrade in the struggle for freedom and democracy. Although Museveni's Prime Minister Robina Nabbanja last year confirmed that he is in their custody, Kibalama has not been seen or heard from for over four years. Our country is ruled by the worst form of criminals and we must unite in demanding that they account for these innocent citizens!
