@TheDanProsser Same thing at the same age in the same car (a red one) - loved waving to other drivers from the back, feet an inch or two behind the bumper! Lasted until it was rolled into a ditch.
@PhillTromans This public service announcement deserves to be put out by the government’s alert system!
One kid’s at school, the other’s out most of the day, but might watch regardless of not having any children about
@Chris_Pickering Hoping to see a focus on driving fun & dynamics in the future, with these EV developments making 0-62 almost redundant. It’s so easy in them too.
Problem is, these aren’t quantifiable. Yeah, a Nordschleife time is, but that’s not the same as “real world”
I know, no help at all!
@MotoClark Depends where/how you’re looking to charge really.
Most rapid/high-power have contactless bank card access which is easiest.
If you’re going to regularly use a network at a location(s), it could be handy grabbing their app/RFID card…
@Chris_Pickering Drove right past me - next time, pop in for a cuppa. And the A449/466 are both great (very different, but great), though the B4293 “over the hill” and B4235 are the choice if you have a bit more time
Keep calm and carry on driving electric! We just opened Ramac Way, our first charging station in London 🇬🇧 and 11th in the UK. With up to 6x300 kW of charging speed, we’re ready to power your journey this Platinum Jubilee weekend ⚡️⚡️⚡️
@NatCABarnes@ChrisLillyEV But Teslas inlet is not just rear 3/4 fuel flap-ish is it, it’s right on the rear corner. And all Teslas have the same placement.
What will be interesting is not only Tesla drivers maybe irritated at non-Teslas using points, but also using the ‘wrong’ bay for a unit to reach.
@NatCABarnes@ChrisLillyEV Don’t know - most should be fine. I’ve had to park slightly wonkily to get the likes of the Audi e-tron to some BP Pulse etc HPCs, but can usually reach. I don’t think Tesla cables are much shorter. 1/2
