@theJeremyVine My daughter and I regularly (prior to long covid) ride on roads!
Like @sh3zz4 we were riding on roads from 3 as their weren't many cycle lanes where we lived or wanted to ride.
We rode for fun, to get to the shops and to pretend to be the famous five by riding and camping!
@NelsonAlmUK @MariaMillerUK This is exactly what we spoke to her about nearly 3 years ago.
To be honest there seems to be no fix. Railway at capacity, Old stock (new cars cancelled I think) and old tracks that need better maintenance. We're not going to have seats on some trains for a while.
@MariaMillerUK Can you send updates to those of us who approached you about the poor service, derailments and breakdowns that we endured on the rail network? We attended a meeting with you and SWR on the 26th March 2020 about this?
@_Basingstoke @SOLVELoddon Blimey, no thanks, I am but a lowly Photographer/Girl Guide/Charity Tech Monkey. I have more than enough stress with all that and haven't the background or knowledge in rivers/environment/politics. I just try to help in the areas I can.
@MariaMillerUK Pesticides and Bees, Rivers and sewage, Fracking and earthquakes/pollution.
Please can you say how you voted on these issues and how you support Green issues?
@_Basingstoke @SOLVELoddon We are getting the wrong types of houses, put in the wrong areas as the developers see it as a cash cow. One they do the minimum effort to support and one they then walk away from regardless of impact and problems they cause.
@_Basingstoke @SOLVELoddon Lastly ๐ the Loddon runs through LibDem and possibly other flags areas. I do not support a Nimby agenda, but the plans published so far and what I can see of other recent nearby developments, is that the plans are detrimental to the future of the Loddon.
@BadgerPubs / @hiwfrs_control Portsmouth Arms in Basingstoke this evening.
Not sure fire exits should be kept closed by by staff by wedging a chair under the push bars.
